She has worked with textiles most of her life, collecting interesting and unusual fabrics and trims from around the world to incorporate into her pieces.

She has studied various art forms over the years, including painting, ceramics, jewelry and batik but her first love is working with textiles.

Karen works in her studio at her home and her line of ready made products can be seen at various art and craft shows where she sells her work. Please check the show schedule page for dates and locations of upcoming shows.

She also does custom work using fabrics from her own large collection or using a customer's fabrics. She only works with the highest quality fabrics and trims and her designs reflect various cultural themes and motifs. She offers an informal  line of table linens as well as a more formal line of one of a kind pieces. Her wall hangings and Christmas tree skirts become heirlooms with time.
